GENERAL
Do you have multiple locations?
No. We have only one location, and are located in the financial district of downtown San Diego, California.
Do you have parking?
Yes. We provide complimentary validated parking to all customers. The parking entrance is accessed via an upward ramp on the right-hand side of 6th Avenue.
Parking Instructions
If you are driving southbound on 6th Avenue, cross over B Street and the parking entrance will be on your right.
If you are driving westbound on B Street, turn left onto 6th Avenue and the parking entrance will be on your right.

Do I need to make an appointment?
Appointments are recommended, especially on weekends. By scheduling an appointment we can ensure you'll be treated to personalized shopping experience with a jewelry specialist. Walk-ins are serviced in a first come, first served basis and during busy periods there may be a wait. Click here to schedule appointment. 
Do you offer financing options? 
Yes. We provide a 6 month no-interest option on approved credit. Longer terms are available. All credit applications must be handled in-store. Please contact the store 619-231-0520 for complete details.
Do you buy jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and watches?
Yes. Our professional diamond and jewelry buyers have 30 plus years of buying experience.We encourage customers to setup an appointment prior to your visit. Please call us at 619-231-0520
I no longer live in San Diego, and need my jewelry to be repaired/cleaned. What is the process?
We have lots of customers who send their jewelry in for service, and cleanings. Please contact us via e-mail, information@haroldstevens.com or call us at 619-231-0520 to initiate the RA (return authorization) form. To make the process easy, Harold Stevens will email a printable (FedEx 2nd day) shipping label that includes insurance coverage. The incoming shipping cost to our store is $45 plus any additional repair charges. Once the repair/cleaning work is complete, we will ship your jewelry back safely and securely. The return shipping is $45 (FedEx 2nd Day) which includes insurance coverage. Harold Stevens will provide an email with your tracking details of the return. If you have further questions, please call the store at 619-231-0520. 
PURCHASES
Will I be charged sales tax?
Only if your order is shipped to an address in the state of California. No sales tax is collected for orders shipped to other addresses.
Do you accept international orders?
At this time we do not accept international orders.
Which payment methods do you accept online? 
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex.
Which payment methods do you accept in-store? 
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, bank checks, bank wire, and cash.
How do I enter a promotional code?
When you check out, look for the box to enter your code.
How do I check the status of my order?

ENGAGEMENT RINGS
Do I need an appointment to look at engagement rings or wedding bands?
Appointments are recommended, especially on weekends. By scheduling an appointment we can ensure you'll be treated to personalized shopping experience and paired with an experienced jewelry specialist. I have my own diamond, can I still purchase a ring setting for it?
Yes. We are happy to help you find the perfect setting for you diamond or gemstone. Contact us at information@haroldstevens.com or call us 619-231-0520 for an appointment request. 
Do you have diamonds in-stock I can view today?
Yes. We have large on-hand inventory of loose diamonds in all different sizes, qualities and prices. We carry GIA and AGS certified diamonds. 
Can I customize any of your ring settings?
Yes. Most of the time we can adjust, and or customize our ring settings for a different carat weight, shape of main stone, and metal type. Call us at 619-231-0520, or email us at information@haroldstevens.com for any customization requests.
APPRAISALS
Do you have a certified appraiser on-site? 
Yes. Our appraiser is on-site Monday - Friday, and is a certified Graduate Gemologist, and NAJA member (National Association of Jewelry Appraisers).
Do you provide jewelry appraisals for estate purposes?
Yes. We can provide jewelry appraisals for estate purposes, insurance, community property settlements, probate, and matrimonial law.
